here is the jeep CJ7 prototype jeep/truck. It never went into production because the frames kept cracking. What was this owner thinking?

The owner was thinking that if the Jeep broke down he could ride the quad to go for help!

He was thinking that since there are no trails around, this is the only way he could possibly get a tire off the ground...

Sure nuff! We've been going up regularly since the late 80's (and a few times when I was a kid). My goal is to go every year, but I think we've averaged about once every 3 years. When the kids were small our summer vacations tended to be San Diego beaches and Disneyland. Now that they're older we're getting to Colorado almost every year.
