The Walapai 4 Wheelers have graciously invited ORP to tag along on their June trip. If there's interest here, we'll let them know and join them. Here are the trip details (copied from W4W):

Run date: June 11, 12 and optional June 13.

The run is a two day with the option of a third day for those who are interested. We will meet at the Flagstaff IHOP at 2725 Woodlawn Blvd. at 8:00 am for breakfast and will leave the restaraunt at 9:00 sharp. We need to get on the trail on time so we can reach the camp in a timely manner.

The route will take us around the San Francisco Peaks and north the the Grand Canyon and follows the old 1880's stage coach route. The camp for Saturday night will be at the Moqui stage stop. Camp will be dry, so bring everything needed for an overnight camp. Restrooms consist of a shovel and a roll of toilet paper. There will be a fire for the evening events so if you have room, please bring firewood. Some of us will bringing trailers so if you need additional room let me know before hand and we will try and get you taken care of. The route is not difficult and can be done with a stock 4 X 4 but plan on a few stops along the way for those Kodak moments. The country we will be travelling through is vast and very beautiful.

The additional run will be going to Bass trailhead on Sunday afternoon from the Grand Canyon. This is one of the only spots on the south rim of the Canyon where you can camp close to the rim with little or no company. We will be crossing the Supai Reservation for a short period and if the entry is manned there will be a $25 fee per vehicle to cross over their land. Mo and I will be pre-running this section prior to the run.

I am going to Flagstaff the afternoon of the day before and camping somewhere north of there. I'm going to meet the group the next morning on their way to the trail. Everyone is welcome to join me. George

You taking the Dodge or the Jeep George? Anyone know if its doable in a 2wd? If the Jeep is sold and I have the funds I would be interested in going, I need to get out on the trail.
