FYI, The Friday group will be camping at the Lava River Cave. It is about 4 miles off of Hwy 180 North of Flag. Camp site will be on FR 171B near the cave. Bring a good flash light if you want to go into the cave. George

I'm digging our SPOT tracking feature for the 1st time... I'm usually on the trip, not at my desk! Pretty cool to see the progress of the trip from home. d

Holy Cow! G just called from camp; he's packing and heading home with a $275 ticket in his hand! The LEO ranger came into camp, informed them all that they were illegally camped, rumaged through the vehicles, unloaded guns, asked a lot of questions, and shooed everybody out. George was pretty shacken up, I told him to call me again from the road. He's at least 7 hours from home after he hits pavement, it's going to be a long night. My only question is - Why were you camping in an 'illegal' camp spot? d
