Default 10/3 - 10/7/2013: Comb Ridge and Nearby Trails, Utah
We leave in just a few hours for the Comb Ridge in Utah! To follow our progress from here just click on one of the Spot Shared pages links below:

Comb Ridge is a natural formation nearly 120 miles long, extending from southern Utah into northern Arizona. It is composed primarily of Jurassic-age Navajo Sandstone. There are numerous trails in the area leading to natural arches and other scenic formations, as well as many Native American ruins. This will be a true adventure as we explore both the Comb Ridge Trail and then venture into as many of the adjoining trails as time permits. This trip is rated moderate and lodging is all remote tent-camping.

No story really. We passed the Nissan the 1st day on the way up Comb Wash. It was up to it's bumpers in the only puddle along that whole trail, even though there was a perfectly good go around. We considered hooking up to it and pulling it out but the owner was nowhere in sight, and since none of us wanted to wallow in the mud, plus what would you hook to, we left it. We never did find out what became of the car.
