All of our events are family-friendly. Some trips may be more suitable for certain ages due to the logistics of camping and traveling. Use your own best judgement and common sense when determining what events are safe and/or practical for younger family members. 2012    1/7/2012: Annual Christmas Party, BBQ, Trailride & Gift Exchange (Near Fountain Hills, Arizona) We're going on a scenic easy 4x4 trail near Four Peaks to a place where there's a sweet area to Bar-B-Que. We'll have a CrAzY GiFt ExChAnGe, and a Cookie Baking Contest too! Bring out the family for our Annual after-the-holidays Holiday Party! Open To Everyone! - Sign-up & more info here...    1/13 - 1/15/2012: Exploring The Bradshaw Trail & Nearby Canyons (Near Mecca, California) Run portions of an easy 4x4 track with us and dry tent camp near the trail. We'll also explore some optional off-shoot canyons in the nearby Chuckwalla Mountains (that may be rated 4x4 difficult). The Bradshaw Trail is the first road through Riverside County, blazed by William Bradshaw in 1862 as an overland stage route beginning at San Bernardino and ending at La Paz, AZ (now Ehrenberg). The trail is now 70 miles of graded road on mostly public land between the Chuckwalla Mountains and the Chocolate Mountain Aerial Gunnery Range. Premium Club Members Only - Sign-up & more info here...    2/24 - 2/26/2012: Calico Ghost Town & OHV Park (Near Yermo, California) Spend your weekend tent, cabin or RV camping with us near the Calico Ghost Town and mining area. We'll also visit the adjacent OHV Park where trails range from 2WD easy to 4x4 extreme! We'll choose trails based on the capabilities of whoever attends. This is a quad/dirt-bike/UTV friendly trip (CA registration requirements apply). There's plenty of history here too - Calico was a former mining town in San Bernardino County. It once had a population of 1,200 people and over 500 silver mines! Today the park operates mine tours, gunfight stunt shows, gold panning, a restaurant, the Calico & Odessa Railroad and a number of general merchandise stores. Come visit this perfect example of what the western desert is all about! Premium Club Members Only - Sign-up & more info here...    3/16 - 3/18/2012: Exploring Near El Camino del Diablo (Near Yuma, Arizona) El Camino del Diablo (The Devil's Highway) is a historic 250-mile Spanish colonial trail route that runs along the Mexico-US border through some of the most desolate and inhospitable desert terrain in America. It remains an unpaved trail, suitable for high clearance vehicles carrying plenty of water and supplies. This year we're exploring new moderate 4x4 trails near El Camino, and we'll be dry tent camping along the way. Though we may run portions of the actual Devil's Highway, please note that this is more of an exploratory trip of the surrounding areas. Premium Club Members Only - Sign-up & more info here...    4/21 – 4/22/2012: Agua Caliente Exploration Weekend (Near Gila Bend, Arizona) A scenic trip through an area rich in history and beautiful desert flora, especially during the spring when in bloom! We’ll explore the remains of the Agua Caliente Resort Hotel and the Agua Caliente Pioneer Cemetery, the ghost town of Hyder which was a George S. Patton training camp, the Painted Rock Petroglyph Site, as well as various abandoned mines. This adventure is suitable for Stock vehicles and it’s open to everyone, so it’s a great opportunity to come out and meet the Offroad Passport gang! Open To Everyone - Sign-up & more info here...    5/19 - 5/20/2012: Red Creek Exploration (Near Carefree, Arizona) We'll explore a 4x4 trail to where Red Creek meets the Verde River and dry tent-camp for one night. There's a remote dirt airstrip here and rumors of other neat stuff. This trip is rated difficult due to the exploratory nature. If you're up for the unknown, join us on this quick adventure! Premium Club Members Only - Sign-up & more info here...    7/28 - 8/4/2012: Southern Sawatch Mountains & Arkansas Valley Area (Near Monarch & Salida, Colorado) Join us for all, or any portion of, a week long vacation in south-central Colorado! We'll be running trails in the southern Sawatch mountain range by day, and lodging in the Arkansas Valley area at night. Both offer amazing scenery. The Sawatch Range has eight of the twenty highest peaks in the Rocky Mountains! Trails vary from 2WD forest roads to some of the most extreme in Colorado - you can join us on whatever you feel comfortable with as we hit the entire range during the week. There's plenty else to keep you occupied on non-trail days - ghost towns (such as the famous St. Elmo), hot springs, world renown white-whater rafting, hiking, mountain biking, or just relaxing in a quaint mountain town are all possibilities. There's even an 18 hole golf course tucked away in nearby Poncha Springs. And of course the area is rich with 18 & 1900's mining, railroad, and steamy bordello history! Premium Club Members Only - Sign-up & more info here...    9/1 - 9/3/2012: The Annual Cinders Event (Flagstaff, AZ) Join us for our Annual Cinders Event in the cool pines near Flagstaff AZ. Experience driving into a volcano at the Cinders OHV area! Enter the salsa contest, win a prize in the ORP Fun Raffle and be there for the Membership Appreciation Month Drawing! Spend your weekend tent or RV camping with us at an improved campground near Sunset Crater. Trails will be easy 4x4 or bring your quad/side-by-side (the Cinders OHV area is open to all type of OHV). Open To Everyone - Sign up & more info here...    9/22 – 9/30/2012: Lockhart Basin and Moab Trails (Near Moab, Utah) Moab - where OHV trails range from Mild to Wild! This trip is in two parts: Lockhart Basin to Moab and then Moab camping and trails. Choose to do either or both! The Lockhart Basin trail ranges from an easy graded road to a rough 4x4 crawl along rocky ledges. Once in Moab, choose tent, RV or Cabin camping and experience driving on slickrock! From famous trails like Poison Spider Mesa, Metal Masher, Picture Frame Arch and Gemini Bridges, we’ll choose which to run each day based upon the capabilities of all who attend. Premium Club Members Only - Sign-up & more info here...    10/27 – 10/28/2012: Swansea Ghost Town, AZ Join us as we return to Swansea, AZ for some easy 4x4 wheeling and dry camping! Now a remote ghost town in the western part of the state, Swansea was a bustling settlement of over 700 people in the early 1900s. Come explore the remains of the 100 year old town site. We’ll take Tank Pass through the Harcuvar Mountains to get there, and visit Camp Bouse along the way.
