Hike Show Low hiking
I'm going to be in Show Low for the 4th and want to plan a day hike, any suggestions? Needs to stay fairly flat as I just had knee surgery and going down hill is not recommended. I've got a couple of AZ hiking guides but neither of them have a whole lot in the Show Low area. I also have the map of the interconnected trails that are right in town, but was hoping to get out a little further from town.

The Show Low Bluff Trail is a nice, easy hike right in town. I recommend it if you have a half hour to blow. That's the only hiking I've done in that area, but it is nice.

A little bit out of town, but you can try the Pole Knoll trail system: http://greerarizona.com/todo/hike/pole-knoll/
