That Ford looks sharp but is the cab molded into the camper body? I would think that would crack after time due to diesel vibration and flex while driving.. That other one while looking utilitarian/military, Lois a bit more robust.

Those are amazing vehicles but HUGE and EXPENSIVE. You would almost have to tow an actual trail rig behind it which kinda defeats the purpose of it.

so i think they need to make a vehicle like these that is actually a "toy hauler". with big enough area to store a small (like Samurai based) rock-buggy in the back of.... then you drive your giant expo camper pretty far back, but when it can't make it any further, you unload the buggy and wheel.

Default EarthRoamer’s new $1.5M XV-HD
Luxury Overland Travel Gets a Whole New Chapter with EarthRoamer’s $1.5M XV-HD Expedition Vehicle.

The interiors are as cool as ever. The representative XV-LTS featured a design blend of nouveau-space shuttle and high-end condominium. This time around, the feel is rustic urbane, Wyoming by way of Tribeca, although the design team at EarthRoamer will customize any model’s interiors as desired.

The layout of the XV-HD manages to incorporate a step-up design for dining and living areas, a stand-up rainfall shower finished in stone and tile, and even a washer/dryer. Like its smaller older brother, the HD is outfitted with active solar and a compliment of lithium-ion batteries; it also receives a PTO genny for emergencies.

As usual, the build quality is bulletproof, and this larger EarthRoamer looks just as suited to off-road exploration as previous models. It’s as heavy as it looks, but that’s where the Ford 6.7L turbo diesel V8 comes in.
It’s as expensive as it looks, too. It’ll cost you $1.5 million to start exploring the road less traveled in this borderline spectacular and not-so-little home-away-from-home
