Question Emissions components
Just curious. During an emissions test for Arizona, what components are they checking for? I have heard they want to see the charcoal canister. What do they pinch off, hook to, screw on to test? All I remember is something is screwed onto/in place of the gas cap for a vacuum test.

I have to get my emissions test and I do not know what to expect, having the new V8 in place of my 4 cylinder. The new GM LS motor has been completely rebuilt and is of a newer year than the YJ. Some have told me not to worry and that the LS would run cleaner than the 2.5L.

Default Re: Emissions components
I wish I had an answer for you, because I've often wondered the same thing after seeing quite a few older Jeeps with engine swaps for sale. Please do follow up and let us know how it goes, what they check.
