Question Ratcheting wrenches?
I am trying to get feedback on ratcheting wrenches. They seem like a useful upgrade that aren't all that expensive. Thanks in advance.

Best are the style you posted with a reversing lever. Some styles don't have it, it can be a PITA trying to figure out which is the correct way to place the wrench when working "blind".

worth every penny, i use them more often than my socket set.

and like Curly said, IMO, reversible ones are the only way to go. the non-reversible ones aren't typically angled on the end.

I agree with all the above.

However, I have a set of the original Taiwan manufactured GearWrench metric wrenches. These were a gift and don’t have the reversing lever. I used them daily from about 2000 until my retirement in 2015 with no problems.

When I original received them I thought they were probably a gimmick because they felt so much different that the one Snap On wrench I had. Boy, was I wrong!

I used them so much that I must be used to the nonlever design because I don’t even seem to miss that it’s not there.

Buy them, you’ll love them.
