Looks great!
You’re going to need a bigger garage.

yes, she is a very pretty Jeep, you should call her Snow White... or maybe Marshmallow, or Stay-Puft - oooh, how about Cotton?

Thumbs up Re: G & D's new (to us) TJ Rubi
G picked up the driveshafts yesterday, installed the rear one and we took it for a spin. Driveline vibe seems much better so far.

Today he moved the Jeep to the back garage and started getting ready for the first phase of this build, correcting various things with some new bracketry and rear spring relocation kit. Shipments are beginning to arrive from ARTEC Industries, Rock Krawler, and Northridge 4x4.

It's like Deja vu all over again; he's gotta fix these curled springs just like on the JK we had

He's going to replace the lower rear control arm brackets

And the sway bar brackets & bushings

He needs to cut and turn the upper part of the rear axle truss so the crawler joints aren't binding

He will replace the gas tank skid

And reroute the exhaust, because the upper control arm rubs it

He needs to move the little air pumps that are currently mounted on top of the skid plate; he doesn't like them there

I think this will be where G can be found for a while...

a sizable list, but thankfully nothing that sounds head-scratchingly difficult.

of course i'm quite familiar with how it's the tangents to your original tasks that end up being the giant PITA items!

the rig looks good, my OCD like the all-black decals

That's just the rear; there will also be a lot of work up front. Go figure...

G removed the rear axle today and cut, and turned the top portion of the truss to eliminate the krawler joints from binding.
