Default White pocket and wire pass canyon.
Last weekend we took a drive up north to go check out the trail to white pocket. Wow what an interesting place, lots of crazy rock and color formations. It is kinda like The Wave but no permit needed and a larger area to explore. We left and drove to wire pass trailhead this is a neat canyon to hike very narrow in places and has a crazy tree to climb down an 8ft drop. We spent the night in Page and on sunday we toured Lower Antelope canyon again very scenic canyon.

Nice pictures! Gotta love the creative climb aids in some of these slots. Thanks for sharing.
How was the trail out to the trailhead? Suitable for basically stock Wrangler? Permit need to day hike the area?

Next time you’re in Page check out “Water Holes Canyon”. The info I posted on that hike is in this thread.

The trail is no problem, in fact a stock suburban with street tires made it out there. Your Jeep should be fine. No permit needed to explore the White Pocket area.

It is definitely worth a weekend trip to explore. We stayed at Marble canyon lodge Friday night then set out to White Pocket Saturday morning looping from South to North finished up Saturday nigjt in Page. On Sunday morning we headed to Antelope canyon then headed back home that afternoon. The lodge is comfortable and has a nice restaurant on site, but the office of the lodge closes at 8pm so don't be late.

Everybody is invited to join us on our march trip into the Vermilion Cliffs . We are visiting a couple of new places up there, where I know only one person, visiting them before .
