So did you have to re-cross it?

only if i wanted to get back home

i had a good idea of how deep it was, so i went for it. of course there could have been a new boulder hidden in there that i might have gotten stuck on or something...

so the smart thing would have been to wait an hour and it would have probably dried right back up - that's the awesome thing about our desert eh?

ugg, i must have a freak JK or just bad luck!

those Pro Comp headlights came today, put them in, went for a test drive and the high beams would not switch back off! i had to turn the Jeep completely off for a couple minutes to get back to low beams once i used the highs.

very disappointed. also surprised that no-one else reported this issue in either of 2 long threads about them over on wranglerforum.com

Pro Comp sent me a new set of headlights since the first ones had an issue not turning off high beams and the projector/cutoff alignment wasn't consistent between the first 2 either. the new set has a consistent cutoff, but still had the problem with the high beams.

i took Gadget to the dealer for a 55k mile oil change and had them do the flash for factory LED headlights while there - that solved the high beam issue on the Pro Comps. yay!

IMO, the blacked-out style on these doesn't look quite right on my rig. so, i ordered similar styled LED fogs and some smoked turn signals to try and make the whole front end more cohesive. i'll post photos after i get them.

the new fog lights are in... i think they help balance out the black headlights a lot. still waiting on the smoked turn signals.
