This is a double-riveted aluminum hull, designed for commercial and heavy-duty service. It is rated for max. 25 hp outboard and 725 lbs (including, all motors, equipment, & passengers)

It’s a former Missouri Department of Conservation unit my Dad purchased as “hull only” at a state property auction around 1996-97, and located the trailer for it shortly thereafter.

When purchased, the transom wood core was going bad & replaced, and an outboard and trolling motor were sourced.

When he no longer could, I bought the boat, and fabricated 1/8 inch thick aluminum transom skin plates to both strengthen the transom, but also raise the motor to correct height for the 20 inch shafted motor he had located, (the transom is a 15 inch). Then, life happened and I lost interest.

I recently located a correct length outboard (a low hours 15 inch shaft 1998 Johnson 8hp outboard, from the original owner). It had a recent water pump impellor replacement, starts easily, shifts cleanly, and it runs out as it should, and comes with a quick-disconnect 6 gallon fuel tank with good condition hoses and priming bulb.

With a now-correct length motor, I trimmed the previously added skins and materials to correct the transom back to a std. 15” height and mounted the newly acquired outboard.

The boat, sits on a solid condition mid 1990's single axle trailer manufactured by "Shore-Lander", with "bearing buddy" hub-covers. The, bearings were repacked and seals were replaced before I towed it out from Missouri (~ 12 years ago), and has not been to the water since.

I’ve upgraded the trailer to 13" diameter radial tires and white spoke wheels, including a tongue mounted matching spare, as the 12 inch original tires were dry-rotted. I replaced the 1 7/8” coupler with a 2” coupler, moved the tail lights up high enough to keep them from being dipped in water during launch/retrieval, and added a transom-saver support bar assy. (internal spring loaded), which clips to the rear of the trailer and attaches to the motor’s lower gear-case, to reduce stress on the transom when being trailered.

	Included with the sale are;

	- a pair of marine grade foam padded folding seats (tan marine vinyl), mounted to pivoting/latching seat brackets. Seats are easily removable for storage by loosening the wing-nut adjusted clamps holding it to the aluminum bench seats

I have purchased a 4-seater, so this one needs to find a new home. It has both desert tires and sand-paddles for the rear, and works well in both environments. Shown here with the Sand Paddles installed. The rear desert tires are BFG's. It has an 8 gal fuel tank, twin 6-pack coolers, and recent oil/filter change completed. I completely rewired it using a Painless kit and built an instrument/switchpanel console a few years ago.

Am assisting my neighbor with the sale of his 2004 Rubicon. He is the original owner, having purchased new in 2003 from York in Prescott. It has 107,000 miles and is equipped with a 4.0L, 5-spd, and is in near-original condition, with NO suspension or drivetrain alterations or modifications. It comes with both tops, however the soft-top has never been installed, but only stored since purchase in a container. The top has one bow slightly bent (I believe to be easily repairable). I did not closely inspect the main fabric, but did open the OEM boxes containing the windows ( still in original shipping boxes), and they appear to be in excellent condition.

It has the following "non-OEM" equipment added:

1- Vehicle tow-bar type towing system complete for flat-towing the Jeep. I did not closely inspect for brand, but it appears to be similar to the Blue-Ox tow bar system.

2- Warn Winch (I did not remember to record model)

3- Rockhard rear bumper with swing-away tire carrier, and fuel cans. (Original rear bumper & dealer installed HD hitch are included as part of the sale, as is the first aftermarket frame mounted swing-away tire carrier he had installed, but removed in favor of the Rock-Hard.)

4- Cobra CB (it's the model which has all functional controls & speakers built into the handset)

5- New high-quality seat covers & floor protective covers similar to weather-tec (I don't remember the brand)

I got three boys and I need more of an expedition size vehicle.

My rig is a 2003 Grand Cherokee Overland. Brilliant black pearl, 4.7 H.O. 5 speed auto. 4" IRO lift kit with rear adjustable a arm. It has Rubicon wheels and tires, probably 6000 miles on the tires? Also has the hard to find and discontinued Icelandic Offroad front bumper with a Warn 9000 winch, complete with LED lightbar. The Jeep has 129.500 miles, runs great, its always ran great for me. Never overheated, spark plugs are recent, diff fluids always changed before and after wheeling trips. I also change the oil very frequently, the day before a trip and then when I get home. Leather interior with sunroof, all door speakers are aftermarket, can't remember what brand. The head unit is a Pioneer DVD player, perfect for long road trips. All four wheels have Poison Spyder wheel spacers, rear brakes are recently all new. I flew to Denver to buy this truck about 4 years ago. Its virtually rust free. Maybe not compared to a Arizona truck but compared to probably 90% of WJ's left, its super clean. Has a mount above rear drivers taillight for Firestik. The truck is setup and ready to wheel. I"ve taken it on probably about 12-15 Colorado trails and it never disappointed. Varilocks take a little wheelspin sometimes but I've taken video of myself to witness them engaging. Its a fun rig, super fast, comfy and pretty capable. And cheap. It has LATCH hooks for carseats incase you're wondering. I use it primarily for trips out west, it sits inside all year long with a battery tender when I'm not using it. Newer AGM battery.

There is much more to add and I will as I remember, this will not disappoint and is quite possibly one of the cleanest well built Cherokees around. The only downside is this received a rebuilt title in '92 when the Jeep was almost new. This was fixed right and you would never know and it has never had any problems!

Must see, please no joy rides and serious buyers only. Please text or call for more detail as I will not respond to emails.

FS: Custom Built Off-Road Trailer with RTT

Sam White's family has decided to sell his custom built off-road trailer with roof top tent:
