Cherokee - What should I be looking for?

Looks like a radiator chemical flush spill. George:cool:

See, didn't even think of that. Well here's the rest of the picks. I have a hold on it.

Is this an AZ Cherokee? The rear springs are very rusty which blows my radiaror flush theory. George:cool:

Now that I look at it close it looks like it sat under water. George:cool:

Dave I don't want to pee on your camp fire, but that is a lot of rust. I would try to get an AZ Cherokee so you can see it in person. George:cool:

Pee away, lol....appreciate the insight...

I'm not too concerned about the springs as they will be replaced along with new diff covers. So clean up would be the axle tubes. Door bottoms and engine look good too.

Look under the carpet, then make your decision. George:cool::confused:

if the body's not rusty, which usually happens first at the ends of the rain gutters and under the front fender on the pinch seam and under doors - then who cares about the drivetrain - that's thick metal, paint it up and you're good.

EDIT - i do see rust here on the door - see the bubbled paint, and coming from under the door sill: https://picasaweb.google.com/klaykrusher/2011072199CherokeeMI?authuser=0&authkey=Gv1sRgCMGc9sPIqrni7wE&feat=directlink#5631969842036881266

we get spoiled here in AZ with vehicles that are perfect though - i had that much rust on my OH cherokee too, a little naval jelly and some touch up paint and i was good to go. so all depends on how good a deal it is i guess.

is there a carfax on it to help verify it's not a flood victim?
