theksmith 5,778 Posted May 3, 2012 Hey K, did you notice if whether or not getting sand, dust, etc. would be an issue if gotten into the mechanisms? I want to buy one of these but am concerned about those locking up due to rust or something, especially if it sat all summer like mine do a lot now. unfortunately i didn't take time to really check it out. they do have a neoprene sleeve over the "joints", probably to keep them from pincing the fabric of the tent, not sure. maybe someone who actually has one already can tell us more about the mechanism that locks this thing "up"... i couldn't find any closeup pics googling quickly Share this post Link to post Share on other sites
