LOL that was funny! ROFL

Thanks for all the great comments everybody!

There is more great news. As a car club there were prizes for the best display. We recieved 1st place and got paid $1000 to the club..... This is huge for us. we were looking to have more cash on hand to finance a Jeep build that we are wanting to sell raffle tickets to raise money for children's charity like Make A Wish Foundation.

What a weekend.

Well the jeep is a show truck now.... mall crawling only and no more offroad! LOL well it seemed like it. been a long time since I have gone offroading.... let me introduce to one of the best trails around here. Rennie trail. it is starting to get famous. I hear some people that have been in the tough truck challenge maybe coming to canada to check it out.

here are some pics.

lets start off with 2 jeeps getting stuck. these guys were just turning around as they could not climb some rocks so wanted to take a bypass. looked like solid ground but turned out to a very deep bog.

up the rocky face and then blue jeep broke. this is why with a D35 you need spare axles.

Hey Asphalt, would you mind copying the post about the Rennie trail to the trip reports section? It's a little bit buried in the build thread but I think people will enjoy to read about a new trail and see the pictures. Diane
