I found this picture of The Dollhouse and thought I'd share:

I found it at this website:

http://www.utahtrails.com/StandingRocks.html where there is a lot of information about the Canyonlands. The Dollhouse has become my Holy Grail.

Nice trip report, looks like a really fun time.

The Canyonlands Maze District Exploratory Expedition began Thursday morning, September 24, 2009 when theksmith, peshaw48, Number 7 & dzjeepchic met at I-17 & the Carefree Highway to begin our journey. The trip to Flagstaff was uneventful, we stopped for lunch and from there we went north on Hwy. 89, turned east on Hwy. 160 and over through Tuba City.

I remember this stretch of highway all to well heading to Moab back in June, very uneventful cruising on that lonely two lane road.

When are you planning another Devils Hiway trip?

March or April 2010. We need to see if they changed the day it closes; last year a lot of the signs were changed to 4/15 vs. 3/15 which had always been the last day. I'll be posting it sooooooon.

The beer tasted great, well if you like darker beers as I do! it's brewed by Wasatch brewery in Park City, UT: http://www.wasatchbeers.com/polygporter.html

and contrary to Diane's teasing, it did not make me more potent (well not according to Aimee thus far).

just noticed that they also have a Double Bock with 8% alcohol called "The Devastator" :)
