Cavecreekjeepman 0 Posted February 4, 2010 Hi guys, just wanted to give you all a heads up on the condition of the El Camino. I ran it last weekend to check it out as a pre run and it is not good. They had 2" of rain and it is very wash board to the point of taking 2 times as long to do it as normal. Shook everything bad. Border patrol trucks were stuck out at the center outpost up to there doors in mud. Should be dry for you all but will still be bad. I am running it again next weekend and will let you know of any changes in the last 2 weeks. Take care, Mark

Cavecreekjeepman 0 Posted February 16, 2010 OK I ran the El Camino Del this weekend again and it is passable, provided there is not too much more rain. Those of you that have done it before will find it very different. Lots of wash out and water damage. Moon dust is moon mud. We replaced the flag at Tule well as we found it missing 2 weeks ago when we were there. Hope you all have a great trip! Give me a call it you need more info. Thanks, Mark
