If there is a group of people who will be leaving later, I'd like to get you traveling together, or at least to meet in Foothills (Yuma) to drive to camp together. Please let me know if you will caravan with us or leave later in the day. George and I will lead a caravan from the gas station located at: Wild Horse Pass & Maricopa Road - Meet at 10:00, leave at 10:15. Or, you can meet us at: Love's in Gila Bend - Meet at 11:30, leave at 12:00. Please post here or PM me: If you're caravaning with, us where you'll meet us, or if you're leaving later in the day, what time you're leaving. I'll try to organize a late caravan if needed. Friday night we're camping at Fortuna Mine. Basically you'll make your way to I-8 and drive west toward Yuma. On the outskirts of Yuma, exit the highway at the Foothills Exit and go south on Foothills Blvd. This is your last chance for gas, ice, food, etc. Continue south on Foothills Blvd to 14 E where Foothills becomes dirt. There are many trailheads there, all leading to the Camino del Diablo. You'll follow it to Fortuna Mine, less than 10 miles on a good trail.
