WJ is still running well. Did a exhaust gas test twice on the cooling system and both times the results were negative. She smokes a little just off idle so I'm thinking the valve seals are worn out. Everything else made of rubber on this Jeep has rotted due to the dry hot climate. I also have a minor cooling system leak when I first start her up cold. It goes away when it warms up. The more I look at it, I think it's coming from the water pump. I have a new pump, just need to make time to change it.

Starting to get it ready for the Rubicon trip in July. I ordered front and rear bumpers from Protofab. 6 weeks lead time before I see them finished so that should be around the first week of June. I'll need to get a winch to fill the hole in the front bumper.

I think I'm quite jealous of that rear bumper/carrier! Please post about these bumpers after you put some miles on them. I'm sure a lot of us are really interested.

Protofab's are the goods. Mine's taken a licking and keeps on ticking.
