Recommended Posts

between scott and george both wanting to do some cherokee fender trimming, the subject has come up a lot lately... so i thought i'd just post how i did mine on my old 01 XJ...

the before shot (notice the side molding, the flares, and the rear bumper wrap-arounds that will all be removed):

drilled out the spot welds, then filled used a backplate from the inside with JBWeld to fill in the holes, the sanded smooth:

and a couple shots that show overall what the looks was like with the all the trimming:

by this last shot i was also running all clear front lenses, crystal headlights, clear/red tailights, and no badges and other little custom touches that contributed to the really simple clean look, like cb antenna in place of factory radio antenna, and super tight simple rock rails from ridgidco. i also took the time to re-paint all the undercoat black to keep the white/black contrast looking clean. every single part on the jeep was white or black except the red part of the tailights and the red hi-lift mounted on the roof rack.
