If it is sufficient, i'd rather go with the smaller one.This smaller version should work fine also. Either of them will help extend the life of the fluid, and packaging it to fit is also an important consideration. Whichever one you go with, just make sure to put it in a location to get air movement from the fan when at idle and slow speeds. FWIW: ALL the petroleum base lubricating fluids in your vehicles will over time, degrade due to exposure to either moisture or heat (or both). The goal here by adding a cooler to any system, is to keep the fluids temperature below that which can not only rapidly damage the fluid itself, but then also damages the seals and other heat-sensitive components of that system. (Such as the vanes & in the steering pump). EVEN if you install a cooler in the PS system, I would recommend inspecting the fluid on a regular basis for discoloring, and changing the steering fluid, whenever you see that it is no longer clear. (Just as you wouild do for an automatic transmission… ) On another related note: Those fluids which are MOST prone to heat degredation in our Jeeps, for the uses we typically are putting them to, are the trans, engine, and the power steering fluids. The axles, and brakes can also experience heat related issues, but for the type of uses to which most of us are using our Jeeps, neither of these are typically an issue, as axle fluids are MOST sensitive to heat generated by either high speeds, or towing uses, and brakes are most sensitive to heat caused by repeated rapid decelerations, such as in racing, or towing and using the brakes instead of the engine and gearing for long descents of grades.
