Gypsy 0 Posted December 17, 2013 I've read September is the best month for the area, monsoons over, a little cooler than July/August and the days still long. I will be wheeling in Grand Staircase next week if anyone is interested in exploring the following areas. I will be in Page on 8/1/2014 to hike Antelope Canyon from the water on 8/2 and Navajo Canyon again from the water on 8/3. 8/4 I leave Page for one night dry camping at Alstrom Point, then on to Cockscomb East Kaibab monocline and Kodachrome Basin State Park and time permitting Burr Trail.
