NEVERENOUGH 0 Posted January 29, 2014 So my birthday is the end of February and we would like to head to Parker and check out the sites. Now we camp with the toyhauler and toys not jeeps. We would like to check out some desert riding and end up checking out the Desert Bar. So does anybody have any suggestions on areas to camp. I have heard people talk about the back way to the Desert Bar so any guidance to that would also be cool. We will coming from Prescott through Aguila and Wenden. Thanks in advance for your help. stockjeep 25 Posted January 29, 2014 there are a few places to camp on the desert bar road but you can get a lot of dust on the weekends. theres a decent place about a half mile up on the right after you leave pavement. we always stay at the LaPaz County park. that may not work for you if your equip is not street legal. Dead end Joe 1 Posted February 10, 2014 Just a mile or so before you get to Parker you will come upon Shea road on the right. It takes you onto re reservation but about six or eight miles out you leave the reservation and you are back BLM land and can camp anywhere. There is a lot of room to camp for the next few miles. You will be east of P mountain. There is also a trail from there over to the Desert Bar.
