Here's a brain teaser for ya', check out these coordinates on Google Earth and tell me what you think... :confused::eek::cool:

Copy and paste puts you on the other side of the planet. Delete the astericks and you will find the 'Mystery":confused::eek:

 

Hint: Satellites orbit a bit higher than commercial airlines. :D

I've seen a few others right around airports, mostly over water near coasts, but this is the first I've seen over land, especially out in the middle of nowhere. Just stumbled across it while I was checking out roads for future adventures.

 

I had my daughter convinced somebody had safely (crash?) landed it there with no runway.

Cool find! I'd never seen one before so it took me a minute to figure out that it hadn't landed there!

 

He was probably going in for a landing at the Red Creek air strip. http://goo.gl/maps/qKtth

 

I sort of doubt it. It looks like a small leer jet so there's not enough runway at red creek. There's no telling where it was going...
