First field day event at Hidden Falls in Marble Falls! Open to everyone so bring your QRP gear and help make this a successful and fun day!

 

Hidden Falls Field Day May 17,2014

7am until 5pm (to be on the air by 9am)

$5 entry fee for the event (if you want to wheel, the fee will be the normal $20 daily fee)

 

Hidden Falls Field Day location is a gated and private location, so when you sign in be sure to mention that you are there for the field day.

We have been granted access to one of the private areas in the park. It is easy to get and does not require 4wd, but you should have high ground clearance just in case. The area is without power, but I will have a small generator to charge batteries and run computers.

The site is a big field with plenty of room to set up multiple stations and many types of antennas. There are cactus and high grass so dress accordingly. I will start at 20m and check for band conditions and make adjustments for open bands.
