ob1jeeper 484 Posted October 14, 2019 (edited) Just an observation. The winch appears to block a sizable portion of the radiator. Is Clifford still cooling ok? Edited October 14, 2019 by ob1jeeper
dzJeepChic 2,435 Posted October 14, 2019 @ob1jeeper yes, Clifford ran nice and cool the whole trip so far. Good thing because nothing we could do about that!!
dzJeepChic 2,435 Posted June 1, 2020 It's all about the booty! Clifford has been undergoing some updates and mods for the last week. He's getting new leaf springs, relocated shock mounts, and driver side axle seal. We're going for a 'clunk-free' idea George came up with. 🤣😂
theksmith 3,832 Posted June 1, 2020 Clifford was jealous of all the great work G did on @scottL's rig!
dzJeepChic 2,435 Posted June 1, 2020 @theksmith yeah, that and creampuff. Clifford's a little needy sometimes, but he's a reliable old cuss, and I love him so!
dzJeepChic 2,435 Posted July 22, 2020 Clifford is on his way to the Jeep Doctor. Smurftruck is squatting! He's heavier than he looks, just carries it really well. 🤣 1
theksmith 3,832 Posted July 22, 2020 Clifford's not fat, he's just "big boned"
dzJeepChic 2,435 Posted August 3, 2020 Poor Clifford. E11even days later and he's still at the shop. Every day they take him out to the parking lot where he sits baking in the sun waiting for parts. I'm sure he misses me. :*(
dzJeepChic 2,435 Posted August 7, 2020 Clifford is home now - we finally got him back on Wednesday. Turns out the pinion bearing race had spun, and damaged the housing. So they replaced all the bearings, and used a punch to fluff up the race seat, then put lok-tite in and let it dry overnight. The Jeep is fine for now, but we have some reservations about it's reliability on long trips. Which sucks, because it is our long-distance rig. 😥 At the shop I heard several guys suggest it might be 'time for a 60'. 🤯
