Smurftruck: 1997 Dodge 1500 4x4 Single Cab

Recommended Posts

Should've bought a 99-2003 superduty! Better interior, axles etc.

We just sold our Dodge 2500 Quad-Cab because we wanted a smaller truck, stuck with the dodge for the solid front axle.

G installed a 2.5" leveling kit and added a leaf in the rear.

This is with just the front done:

This is with both done. G says the leveling kit brought the front up more than 2.5" and it's too high because when he puts a camper shell on it the back will drop a little.

Think i still have a couple Deaver leafs laying around my garage if you're trying to raise the back.

G cut out the seat cushions from the center console piece where he's going to build some kind of tray/organizer.

We went with nerf-bar steps, at least for now. Turns out they don't look half bad!
