We're considering hosting a clinic teaching forum basics and some advanced forum features, depending upon members' interest. This clinic would be free to Premium Club members and $20 for Basic members. It would be held in northeast Phoenix.

Please answer in the poll above whether you would would be interested, and if you are, please post to this thread the topic(s) you would like us to cover.

Here are some ideas for topics we could teach, and please feel free to add other subjects in your posts to this thread.

Forum basics such as maneuvering the sub-forums, what 'new posts' does, search function(s), thread options, subscriber options, etc..
  • How to start a thread, how to reply in thread, how to quote, multi-quote posts.
  • How to post a poll, how to vote in a poll.
  • How to post pictures and attach files.
  • The difference between private messages and visitor messages, and how send/answer each. How to delete PMs and Visitor messages.
  • User CP functions such as avatar, signature line.
  • About User Profile, how to post a profile picture, how to send friend requests, how to accept friend requests.

Hello,

Are the "advanced forum features" in the lines listed above? If not, what are some of the advanced forum features

that would be taught?

Best regards,

Miike

That would be the things like posting a poll, posting pictures and attaching files, PMs vs. VMs and working with each, user control panel, avatar, signature line, setting up user profile, etc.
