RIP Sam White

Recommended Posts

This just breaks my heart. ZJWoody just let us know that our dear friend Sam died yesterday, and suggested a picture thread as a very small way pay tribute to him.

Sam has been friends with me & G for nearly 10 years. He took us on many wonderful 4x4 trips, showing us all number of cool places to go. We helped him do upgrades on his first Jeep only to see him upgrade his whole Jeep to a 4-door not much later. He has been a supporter of Offroad Passport from the very beginning, becoming one of the 1st Premium Club members and leading numerous trails from this forum over the years. Sam, we will sorely miss you!

I never had the pleasure of meeting Mr, White in person. He was however, very gracious in answering my numerous questions about hiking in the Maze District. I wish I had known him.

Happy Trails Mr. White.

While I have enjoyed so very many trips with Sam, none are quite as memorable as the Maze District of the Canyonlands....

With Sam and Jim...
