nice, who did you buy the armor from, apparently there are several people selling that...

hey we'll send you a free decal this month too if you send us an envelope with a stamp that will hold one - see the bottom of the first post here: http://offroadpassport.com/forum/showthread.php?t=4363

I decided to go with dave bost metalworx, he seemed to have the most knowledge about them, being as he made them for his zj and xjs.

One company has key chains as the most advanced thing they had prior to the side armor. And the other company has no previous experience either but they do make a very hefty and solid dana 44a skid plate. They would be my second pick.

And sweet ill have to do that!! Thanks

been a lil while since I posted. returned from my family vacation to sturgis (will never go again lol). got the side armor all bedlined up and been trying to get the jeep prepped for install but weather has been very crazy here with all the fires we have going on right. its so bad that the president actually claimed a state of emergency for us up here in Washington. so hopefully the weather will be better in the next few weeks and I can get them installed.

in the mean time ive been looking at rear bumper ideas since ill be getting one in January-February time frame. im thinking about going with the flatland rear non tire carrier rear bumper due to the price I can get one for (350) then welded for like 70 bucks.

ooorrrr

going with something like this cause this is just flat out awesome, especially since I plan on running .120 dom tubing from the rear bumper over the wheel wells, incorporate some sliders into them, and then up and over front wheel weel to the front bumper.

Prepped the jeep finally for the quarter panel armor. Layed down 3 coats of duplicolot bedarmor on each side to prevent any chance of rusting out my quarter panels
