DAvy120 1 Posted February 24, 2016 Also my freedom offroad 2.5/2 inch lift came in as well as new isolators all around. Hoping my jeep rides way smoother now compared to the junk rough country shit on it now.
Bradywgn71 746 Posted February 25, 2016 Nice work! I have a bunch of lighting to add to mine too. Maybe when the house projects are done...
DAvy120 1 Posted February 25, 2016 I think after the lift I'm gonna start focusing on my firebird that's just sitting in the driveway collecting dust lol so I may be gone for a while.
DAvy120 1 Posted February 27, 2016 Well got my freedom offroad 2.5/2" lift installed. Measurements are weird as hell in the front (they vary by about .5" lol) All in all gained about 1.5" all around tho. Keep in mind I had a 2" puck lift before so it was sagged out about an inch. Anyways pics The shafts on these shocks are rather big compared to the garbage rough country ones.
DAvy120 1 Posted March 7, 2016 Fixed the small ass gauge wire that was on my rock lights and made em 14 gauge much better!! Twisted the old wire around the new stuff and soldered it all together. Should be ok. 6 of the
BigTuna117 33 Posted March 7, 2016 Fixed the small ass gauge wire that was on my rock lights and made em 14 gauge much better!! Same way I did mine. How many are you putting in each wheelwell? Also, I ran the front sets into a junction, that way if one of them goes it, I can disconnect it at the junction and replace it, instead of a full run of wire. There is also a rear junction that the rear lights connect into, and that is also where the front Junction merges into the circuit.
DAvy120 1 Posted March 11, 2016 I think I'm gonna do 2 per wheel well and then one or two at the front and rear. Haven't decided how I'm gonna mount them yet as I really don't wanna rip all my rear carpet out again.... and the passenger side front looks like it's gonna be a pain in the ass...that's not a bad idea. I may do t taps for each haven't decided just yet.
