You must be tired after climbing that high up to get a pano--- Gadget appears to be in the lower right quadrant of the pic, but the detail isn't sufficient to confirm that it is in fact the one & only Gadget... :P

ob1 got it, that little dark black area somewhat towards the lower right near the end of the part of the road you can see - there's a little light dot in there that's the spare wheel. ;)

updates from the weekend...

finally got around to changing the front diff fluid and installing the new Teraflex cover.

front lower coil retainers were also installed.

a front OME 10mm coil spacer was added on the passenger side to help level out the "JK lean". i ran out of oomph and didn't get the rear one installed yet. thanks for the spacers George!

then i went to grease everything before we head to Swansea... i found one of my 90* zerks from the front lower control arm was just laying in the joint loose with the threads stripped off, so i had to deal with that.

i also blasted the interior with the air compressor to dislodge the dust from its preferred nesting spots and then gave the whole thing a good vacuuming.

i threw on a Teraflex VSS steering stabilizer just before the Swansea trip. it's just a tad shorter than the stock one that was contacting my new Teraflex diff cover, but still allows full lock-to-lock turning.

it is a larger diameter though and thus barely cleared the draglink and trackbar with the Rough Country relocation bracket. no signs of rubbing or wierd noises during the trip, so i guess it's good!

and speaking of unplanned purchases, i ordered a new transmission crossmember. i knew that i'd eventually replace the stock one that is taking a good beating, but i hadn't planned on it quite yet. however, it seems like every time i wheel, i smash it even further and then the engine/tranny skid will start rattling against the exhaust till i add more spacers. got pretty tired of that.

there's at least 7 companies making these things and most are pretty similar. the Synergy one looks the strongest but is also the most expensive. i went with the Barnes 4wd one because it allows re-use of the factory metric fasteners for the skid plates and also seems to have the exact same cut-outs as OEM. i don't know which full skid system or long-arm kit i'll get one day, so i figured this would be the safest bet for future compatibility with those items.
