Gonna have to look that up. Any recommendations on cleaning the engine bay? I know I am going to have to cover the air intake and my switch panel relay when I do it. Good to know. I got tons of mud and dirt all up in my engine bay I want to get rid of if I can.

I had it on my rubicon, took it out when I installed my under hood KC cyclones.

theksmith 3,849 Posted July 9, 2020 air and oil my snorkel came with a reusable K&N filter that you have to oil (RF-1048). i hate the oily style filters, but figured i'd use it till it was dirty and then swap in an AEM DryFlow (21-210EDK). well i went to make that swap yesterday morning and found the original filter had slipped off and the way it was sitting left a good 1" x 2" sized opening to suck in dusty unfiltered air. i hoped that it had just gotten jostled loose this past weekend when i was messing with the whole snorkel/intake. but it turns out, it must have been that way for a while... i just happened to also get my first oil analysis report on Gadget from Blackstone Laboratories yesterday evening. it showed high silicon and wear metals content so they suggested i double check the air filter! the report was from a sample i had sent in a few weeks ago and the last time i had looked at the air filter was the previous oil change, so the filter could have been loose for over 3k miles - my poor little engine!
