Sorry it took me so long to get around to posting some pics, I had a big writing project due!

Anyway, I took a lot of the same ones as everybody else, but here are some that are different.

Be quiet! The rattlesnakes are sleeping!

We went to check out Stoneman Lake, and like K said it was dried up! I took a picture of this really cool tree. Unbeknownst to me, a man and a woman were behind it on a blanket smooching. G noticed them when he walked past the tree to get a better view of the area.

Bringing back an old thread. I was back in the area today. Some Jacka** has torn up the front porch of the old cabin for firewood. Damage is saddening. Historical photos were gone also. Rest of the cabin seems unchanged.

I used to camp up there in the '70s, but I never saw the cabin.

I was so young. Plenty of hair and no pot-belly.

Bringing this back one more time............

Tonight Devon and I were going through some slides her parents had taken over the years. One cube was marked Apache Maid cabin, 1994. I thought I'd share what the cabin looked like 24 years ago. Surprisingly, except for the vandalized porch, the cabin looks remarkably similar to today's condition. I thought the curtains in the window were cool. Looks like glass is still in the left window.

The picture below is a cell phone pic of the screen, so not the best.
