Asbestos Point Trail Damage and Coon Creek Ruins Pictures

Recommended Posts

TRAL went back yesterday. The trail has seen traffic, since TRAL was there last. The erosion repairs are still holding up. We got up to the burn area, and then, had to start clearing trees from the trail. We almost made it to the top. It was late in the day, and there were two large tree piles crossing the trail. We turned around at the point. TRAL will probably return soon to finish the work.

I set that run up gambling a little that the trail would finish being cleared at the top by the time we went. It looks like it will be but I'm still going to bring a strap and a saw just in case there's a few trees left.
