Come and join us for a 6 day event in Kingman, AZ. We are running 8 trails in 6 days. Trail level will be moderate to difficult.

 

The event name is 'March Madness - A Prelude to Moab'.

Possible camping locations:

 

There is a county-run campground at Hualapai Mountain Park. There is another at Wild Cow, about 5 miles to the south. There is an RV park at Blake Ranch Road and I-40 and a KOA campground in Kingman. The Hualapai Mountains are open to dispersed camping as well.

 

 

We are running the following trails:

 

Saturday, March 17: Candy Ass

 

Sunday, March 18: The Bifecta - Twister and Wayne’s World

 

Monday, March 19: Home Court

 

Tuesday, March 20: Cow Creek

 

Wednesday, March 21: The Wedges and Serendipity

 

Thursday, March 22: Henry’s Car Wash (Blue Tank)

 

Requirements

 

(All runs require hardtop, rollbar or cage; spare tire or patch kit with inflation device; jack; seat restraints, working four-wheel-drive and to have originally been a street-legal automobile or truck.)

 

Candy Ass, Grade 8

 

32-inch tires or larger, suspension lift, recovery points, front locker

Air down is in Oatman, AZ.

 

Possibly - Hard Ass, Grade ???

 

All of above plus 33-inch tires, a rear locker and a winch

 

Twister and Wayne's World, Grade 7

 

32-inch tires or larger, suspension lift, recovery points, front locker

 

Home Court, Grade 8

 

33-inch tires or larger, suspension lift, recovery points, front locker.

There are multiple exit points from Home Court. Vehicles lacking a front locker may exit at the halfway point.

 

Cow Creek, Grade 5

 

33–inch tires or larger, locker and recovery points

Air down spot is approximately 30 highway miles away from town, so make sure to have enough gas for a very long day.

 

The Wedges/Serendipity, Grade 7

 

33-inch tires or larger, suspension lift, recovery points, front locker or front and rear limited slip.

 

Henry’s Car Wash, Grade 6

 

31-inch tires or larger, recovery points

 

These are all club runs. No fees of any kind will be charged.

There is one run per day. On days with two runs they will be run consecutively.

 

Meeting Points:

 

All runs, except Henry’s Car Wash, will meet at 8am. at the Kingman Powerhouse Visitor’s Center. The group will depart at 8:30am (map).

 

Henry´s Car Wash will depart from Petro at Blake Ranch Exit of I40. Meet at 8:30am, depart at 9am. (map)

 

We are using CB channel 12 on the runs.

Some of the trails also offer optional buggy lines.
