CLICK HERE FOR MAP This isn't a 4x4 run; we'll only go a couple miles on a maintained dirt road to a site known for Apache Tears. We will have to walk a short distance (less than 1/4 mile, I think). Plan on being out all day - bring lunch, lots of water, sun protection, rock hammer, eye protection, camera, etc. Note from Kermit: Small ones can be found on the ground everywhere, but if you wantto go home wit egg size ones bring a good size hammer, 8 - 12 inch chisel, gloves, and a hard hat.
