subPar 0 Posted April 23, 2019 Hello everyone! I just moved to the Phoenix area from Illinois. Besides the weather, one of my big reasons for moving was to have some places to actually use my 2017 Wrangler. I’ve done a couple trails since I’ve been here but really want to meet some other “pavement is lame” kind of people. I’ve been trying to explore a bit on my weekends but having just started a new job with low seniority, my weekends currently are Tuesday Wednesday. Azoutlaw480 0 Posted April 23, 2019 Hey there! Welcome! We moved from Queen Creek last November. Loved it down there. Now we live in Show Low though. There are a bunch of real solid places to explore very nearby to you. Off the top of my head I can think of Box Canyon, which is right down hunt hwy essentially. subPar 0 Posted April 24, 2019 Thanks. We did Box Canyon last year when we were visiting. I tried to get there again a couple weeks ago and took a wrong turn somewhere because I never did make it. Azoutlaw480 0 Posted April 24, 2019 Montana Mtn is out there in the Queen Valley area. Real nice drive. You might use 4x4 once though. Still a beautiful climb up pretty high. Youll also pass an old miner or ranchers cabin on the way down. Share this post Link to post Share on other sites
