will be Saturday, Oct. 12 through Tuesday Oct. 15th.

Do you have what it takes to handle four days of the toughest trails in Mohave County?

We have a whole batch of trails that have never been included in Rocktoberfest or March Madness and they are guaranteed to test modified rigs.

ROCKTOBERFEST TRAILS

OCTOBER 12-15
PIG IRON
BARNEY’S REVENGE
BLACK INKY SPRING
BULL MOUNTAIN

(All runs meet at the Kingman Powerhouse Visitor Center at 8:30 a.m. and depart promptly at 9 a.m.)

Pig Iron, Saturday, Oct. 12
(Trailhead, 9:30)
Pig Iron is a short run in the Hualapai Mountains near Devil’s Dip and Serendipity, but is considered the most challenging of the runs in the area. The run is in a wash where there are numerous large rocks, tight squeezes and loose dirt and sand.

Barney’s Revenge, Sunday, Oct. 13
(Trailhead, 9:30)
Another run in the Hualapai Mountains, but this is on the other side of Hualapai Mountain Road. Historically, this is one of the oldest and most challenging runs in the Kingman area. Expect off camber, big rocks, steep angles and loose surfaces - typical of Kingman’s more difficult runs.

Black Inky Spring, Monday, Oct. 14
(Trailhead, 9:45)
Staying in the Hualapais, this run is off of historic Walnut Creek Canyon. Black Inky Spring is another short, tricky run in remote Willow Canyon. Expect steep angles, more big rocks, sand and some great views in a canyon that is so remote it’s still very seldom visited.

Bull Run, Tuesday, Oct. 15
(Trailhead, 9:30)
Rocktoberfest closes out in the Cerbat Mountains north of Kingman on Bull Run. A steep climb and descent with a play area at an old quartz quarry on top of Bull Mountain are just the beginning of this short, but challenging run. A section of rugged wash finishes out the run. Every kind of obstacle you can imagine, except a waterfall.

REQUIREMENTS: All vehicles must have 33-inch or larger tires, lockers front and rear, recovery points, working seat belts or harnesses and hardtop or roll cage. Body armor is recommended due to high risk of body or mechanical damage. Signed waivers (available onsite) must be turned in prior the runs (one waiver covers all runs).

As always with Rocktoberfest, it is a gathering of friends. There are no charges or fees. The only requirements are a capable vehicle and willingness to risk body or mechanical damage (and signing a waiver and modeling release).

Sponsored by OffRoadPassport.com, OffRoadDance.com and RAW.

Meeting point and time will be posted soon.

Either post here in this thread, if you wanna come or accept the invite on RAW.

i'll probably come up for at least one of the easier trails, waiting to see exactly what you're running each day!

We are talking about the Bull Run on the last day. That is a moderate trail with a short rock crawling section, which probably can be bypassed. It is a very nice and scenic trail and not very long. I have done it in march with Ric and a friend of him.

Pig Iron and Barneys Revenge will be super hard. Black Inkie has, if I read that correctly, one very difficult obstacle.Wayne will know more, once the pre runs happened.
