theksmith 4,019 Posted August 22, 2022 neat awning! the design reminds me of this old one from Bus Depot that a member here used to use with his LJ.

4x4tographer 2,840 Posted September 5, 2022 51,400 miles - did a quick oil change before the 2022 Gala this week. Keeping an eye on an oil seep around the rear main seal area. Photo below is from about 30 days ago - I've since cleaned the area up really well and am monitoring. Suspect it's an upper pan gasket. I pulled the plugs at the bottom of the housing and shined a flash light up in there to see if it was a rear main seal leak - but it's clean as a whistle in there. Since I've cleaned it up, we ran Casner Mountain Trail and a long trip from Sedona (Schnebly) through Flagstaff with no signs of any additional weeping.

I don't know if the JL's are prone to the infamous oil filter housing leak but that drip pattern is awfully familiar..

4x4tographer 2,840 Posted January 2 Saving for later: Hopefully get to this this week. I’m sure the JL will be a similar process.

I’m sure the JL will be a similar process. you might also check out the instructions for the Nemesis flares for a JL. their instructions for the JK flares included exactly where to trim my factory front liners. i removed the rear liners completely and painted the OEM body metal all black inside there after filling in a few small holes.
