EasyGuard JK push to start

Recommended Posts

Hi folks, bought this system and tried once to install it.  It's not the easiest thing, but member theksmith has a great write up thread.

I have:

 Easyguard EC002
ADS-HRNCH5 T-Harness
Omega OL-MDB ALL Bypass Module
OMEGALINK OSLOADER USB Interface Cable (Used to Flash your bypass module)

I also have  Lower Dash Trim/Climate Control (With Cigarette Plug on Left to relocate mirror adjustment controller to the right) but it's Saddle/tan so won't work for most.

Do not have any fortin.

$100 shipped to you in the lower 48.

$80 for the main system + bypass module + bypass harness + bypass programmer is a great deal!

FYI to any potential buyers, mine's still working great! yes, it was a big deal to figure it all out the first time - but now we have a write-up that multiple people have followed and so it's not hard at all to install this. there's only a single factory Jeep wire that needs to be spliced, everything else with the Jeep connection is plug & play!

Is your write up is good for all JKUs not just the 2012 and up? If so I'll take it.

i'm not sure if 07-12 uses the same harness or not - maybe @EarlKann knows.

According to these links, the T harness works with 05 and up vehicles.  Best info I could find.

And the interface works with 97-up

Sorry, forgot to check in here for a while as I've been busy with sale of my house and moving to TX.

Unit is still available, I just came here to gather info so I could post on ebay.  I did not do anything to the harness other than taking it from neatly packaged to a tangled mess.  Much of it isn't used anyway.  There is a keypad, yes..
