dzJeepChic 2,565 Posted May 19, 2020 We're running Mud Springs trail, but only going as far as 'the big hill' where we'll break for lunch and anybody who wants to challenge themselves can go up 'the big hill' and back down again. Then we'll head back. It'll still be a full day of fun wheeling and gorgeous scenery. Bit of Trivia: Back in the day when the Offroad Passport team were noob's, 'the big hill' was as far as we ever got on the Mud Springs Trail, so in a sense it was the end of the trail for us then. It started as replacing the leaking exhaust manifold and valve cover gasket, but of course it didn't stay that way! I figured I would do the crank position sensor also because there is plenty of space with the manifolds out. I then noticed that the lower steering column bearing needed to be replaced and ended up having to replace the lower steering column shaft also. I must of been leaning on the top of the radiator too much because the seam between the top plastic tank and the core started leaking, so I pulled the radiator for replacement. If I have the radiator out I might as well do the water pump, thermostat, and thermostat housing at the same time. Needless to say the Amazon delivery vans have been coming non stop. 2
