After getting the rig flexed out in different spots we checked everything out and found no brake fluid spewing hoses on the flexed side. On the "compressed" side there was a little over a 1/2" of shock shaft left exposed. There was no wheel rub on the fenders or bumpers either. I also noticed on the drive down to the flex spot that the ride felt better on the new shocks. Thanks to @theksmith for helping me flex it out and the advice during the upgrade. Thanks again to @4x4tographer for all the help getting everything installed and dialed in. Awesomesauce!! Jeep looks amazing flexed out on the rocks!

shellback91 1,239 Posted June 26, 2021 Betty Lou's battery gave up the ghost today after living 2 years and 1 month. Once again it gave no indications it was going bad other than being old for the Phoenix area. It's been starting fine with no slow cranks or other normal indications of it dying until today. I am glad I had my iClever Jump Starter with me to start her up at the gas station. This was the first time I had used it and it worked like a charm, definitely a great purchase. I had been researching batteries recently because I knew it was getting old so I had an idea of what type I was going to with. I considered the Yellow Top Optima but I have read that their quality has declined over the last few years so I went another direction. I went with the Duralast Platinum H6-AGM battery from my local Auto Zone. It's got a 3 year warranty from date of purchase, is an AGM battery which is what I wanted, it was a fair price and is made here in the USA.
Ladybug 241 Posted June 26, 2021 I've had the best luck with the agm batteries. (knock on wood!) Good choice, imho smiles, ladybug
Stacey and Scott 918 Posted June 26, 2021 If I may suggest you look into Odyssey batteries, they have taken the place of the yellow tops. Absolute monster's (I'm running a pair of these in my dual setup) 900 cca and a four year warranty! Down side...$300.00 each.

I found a couple of places that carry them here in the valley, but I was in a hurry yesterday after it died and went to the closest place I knew had one of the ones I settled on. Lets see how the Duralast does this round and I may try that one out next time.
