Project510 2 Posted February 17, 2011 Ive been absent for two days also, not feeling well. I am deff not letting this keep me at home. Ive been in bed drowning in meds, OJ and sleep. Also, to make matters worse.. the truck has all of a suden started getting HORRIBLE gas mileage. Im not throwing any codes, or CEL's.. I am afraid its the knock sensor, which is a known problem on these S/C models. The code wont show up with your avg OBDII scanner. I did get the transfer case and engine oil changed, just hope the poor fuel mileage is not damaging to the vehicle. We'll be on simplex 146.460 There are some repeaters in Barstow and Laughlin, but the one in Ludlow seems most likely to have coverage for the majority of the trip. The Ludlow is an open repeater running on 147.885- I also have a call scheduled with nwoods on that repeater at 7pm Saturday eve if we can get through. I've been using inhalers, antibiotics and steroids all week, hoping that I would be better by now. I concluded this morning that the expected weather this weekend may be harmful to my recovery.
