Proudly introducing "NO RAGRETS", before/after pics & more...

YES!  I got my temp fix to work!  After getting it installed I was able to shift from 2H to 4H to 4L and back to 2H several times with no issues. 😎

Looking at the pic you will see a black zip tie, under the zip tie is a metal clamp bracket I made that is screwed to the floor to hold the cable in place.  The clamp bracket is between that metal piece and the broken plastic piece.  It's hard to see as the zip tie is kinda covering it and the clamp bracket kinda blends in, the zip tie is also helping to hold everything in place.  The plastic piece is what broke and can't be replaced which is why the entire cable has to be replaced.

Installed hood louvers, started on this project yesterday and worked on it for about 4-5 hours.  Went out and finished it today after about another 4 hours.  Things didn't go smoothly (does it ever?) which is why it took so long but in the end I'm happy with the results. 😎

I was thinking the same, lol!  We'll be running with the t-tops off for the first time.  Figure I'm leading and not eating dust so take advantage of the situation. 😎

Hood louvers definitely make a difference!  Normally while offroading my temp gauge reads at the halfway or a hint past it, today it spent most of the time a hint LESS than halfway, occasionally hitting the halfway point.  Also, today's outside temp was in the mid/upper 90's, in the past the outside temp was a good 15-25 degrees cooler!

I want to thank @theksmith for giving me a heads up/educating me about Jscan and iCar Pro OBDII diagnostic interface "dongle".  I used them for the first time today and was able to turn off a bunch of features on my rig I didn't want/use.  Looking forward to using it again when I have more mods done to my rig, very useful and helpful tool! 😎

AWESOME!  The last mounting piece needed showed up today, a day early, so now I'm ready to rock with my tablet! 😎

2 RAM 1" balls, RAM 3" arm and RAM tablet holder attached to a Carolina Metal Mashers aluminum grab handle.  Couldn't be happier!
