I'm thinking of having discount just mount one of my older worn out MT so it should be closer in diameter to the 31.5. yes, my understanding is with all the fancy computer-controlled traction features, it's important to keep all the tires all pretty close to the same diameter... especially if we ever need to use the spare while in one of the offroad/4x4 modes. so we installed the same size A/T3W on the spare steelie as we did on the new wheels. since the spare steel rim is narrower than our new Black Rhino's, that might cause the tire bulge out in the center a tad more - but i'm sure it's still within a 1/2" or closer to the same diameter as all the others.
