The meats and lift made a massive and noticeable difference, fo’sho. Super happy with them. Yeah with ever-increasing number of drunks on that particular trail on the weekends, I think I’ll only target weekdays for future runs to CK. It’s just getting too wild and too unpredictable with all these cotton-headed ninny-muggins. I think another part of it is that it was nice out. Normally I run it every winter when it’s maybe too cold for an exposed ride for the average SXS driver. And yes, always impressed by the ORP fam’s willingness to be the best ambassadors out on the trails! 🙌 1

I second this. I also watched the Trailrecon video of them running CK, made it look hellaeasy and no drunk side by siders either. waiting on a response from the Jeep BOH people’s on where/how to send proof to get the badge.
dzJeepChic 2,565 Posted May 3, 2021 Wow, what an adventure! The drunks, SxS's and crowds in general are why we don't do CK anymore, and we haven't done it in years!! But yeah, how annoying. Kudos to you guys who helped others, too. Excellent pictures & videos everyone, and I really enjoyed your trip report @4x4tographer! Thank you for organizing and leading, sure made for a great story! 2

gearhead 468 Posted May 4, 2021 Not to beat a dead horse, but I can't help but think about the irony of a brand new Polaris SXS broken down and "dead in the water" on the side of the trail needing help from a beat up 30 year old YJ puttering by. 😛 1

TrashPanda 29 Posted May 5, 2021 I recognize a few of your jeeps from that day. I was there airing down with a few of my friends before hitting the trail and I had no idea ya'll were from this forum. I spoke to 1 or 2 of you. After seeing this post I figured I would say hi and introduce myself. My name is Kris (I am a big white dude with tattoos and wheels in shorts / flip flops). I always have my gal and our 2 boys with us. I drive a white JLU on 40's and wheel pretty much with the same group of 4-6 vehicles every weekend, occasionally picking up new friends here and there. Our group consists of everything from a pretty stock JK on 33's to me and 1 other guy that are a little less than stock. But we all have fun! Hope to meet more of you and see you out on the trails!

HA! Small world! I was laughing my butt off at the name "Trash Panda". We were talking to Troy when you rolled up to air down. Your Jeep is absolutely awesome man. Welcome to the ORP fam! Your Jeep is absolutely awesome man. Welcome to the ORP fam! Thank you! I sold my TJ buggy a few years ago and promised I would never get another jeep but I clearly lied to myself. Picked this up in October/November and have been ripping / cutting / welding / breaking / etc. every week since then. I think I am done for now, or at least my Bank of America account says I am lol.
