Well we will be out of town, so can't go, but I want to put a shout out to Ryan for putting this trip together!  As well as the others that you initiate Ryan...Way to go!  And Curly knows this area so you will have a most excellent time as he can show you some spots along there!  And welcome to the GAIA world Tim...I have alot to learn yet, but love the different layers that are available....

Enjoy and have fun!

Please add me to stand by.  Sounds like a great inauguration trip for my yet to be named ride.  Maybe she will name herself on this one if there is room for us.

Sure thing Tim! I’m working to consolidate everything into a single folder to make it a little easier. 🙂

Thanks Karen! Lots of grand adventures to be had!

I’m super interested in Curly’s insight on the area.

Hey there ORP Fam!

Here's the promised link to the map tracks, waypoints, etc.

Please let me know if the map is not visible for you.

Here's a copy of the MVUM for the William's Ranger District

Some notes:

  • Route Colors
    • Green - Easy
    • Orange - Moderate
      • The entire track is not moderate. I've pre-marked the rough spot with some "boulder icons"
    • Blue - Campsite search route
  • Campsites
    • I've pre-marked a few "premium" dispersed campsites that are at a pretty decent altitude of around 7,500-8,000 ft
    • I've also marked some other camping spots earlier on the route incase we lose day light earlier than expected
    • Dispersed Camping
      • Camping Corridors - Marked in yellow. Kaibab allows motorized camping up to 100ft off of the forest road
      • Other Motorized Camping - Kaibab allows motorized camping on any road UP TO 30ft off of the forest road
