theksmith 4,019 Posted September 22, 2021 (edited) I ran across this video of Ol Doinyo Lengai, an active volcano in Tanzania. Its unique lava has a mineral composition that allows it to erupt at only around 500*F - cool enough to not even glow red in daylight, instead appearing black or silvery. It's also nearly as runny as water, so way faster flowing than your run-of-the-mill red lava! More info in this article from Wired...
